3 WAYS TO DISCOVER NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

Business opportunities knocks on every one's door but only few people recognize them when they knock. It takes sensitivity to discover new business opportunities. In every environment , there are numerous business opportunities yet to be explored. Don't go into business because everyone is doing well in it . What is good for the goose may not always be good for the gander in business.
Three major ways of discovering new business doors are:
1. By Thinking
It's a thinkers world. Thinking has the ability to change your life and situation. We must continually engage our mind to think and discover new business opportunities. Thinking puts the mind and the brain to work. Take a good night rest then wake-up very early in the morning and engage the brain in thinking.  Think about the community or environment you live & discover the businesses that can do well there. Also, think about the relevance of the business to the environment and the people that live there. For instance, you can not open an estate management firm in a remote village where people can not afford to pay for the service. You must also think in terms of basic needs of people. When you provide what people like you will always be in business. Think in terms of necessity of the business to your environment. Think of a business that will do well in all seasons of the year. This will determine whether to go into the business or not. Thinking should also be done in terms of price. Selling & cost price  affects your business either negatively or positively. Production cost should not be more than selling price. The nearby institutions e.g schools, hospitals, offices , etc are road marks to the kind of business opportunities in that environment.
2. Source for Relevant information:
Information they say is power. What distinguishes the poor from the rich is the amount of information at their disposal and right application of the information. The success of any business is determined by the amount of information that has been gathered.  Success in the business world is determined by the degree to which you are informed. Until you are informed, you remain deformed.
    Information can be gathered through reading of business books, magazines, newspapers , surfing the Internet, by asking relevant questions from people who are already ahead of you and watching them closely.You can also ask them to mentor. Until you have a mentor, your name cannot be mentioned. . Get relevant information about business opportunities by attending seminars and conferences.
3. Be sensitive & observant to business opportunities around you
When driving or taking a walk, observe the business that are not in environment and what people like that are not in your environment.
